How can I find a personal care home in the area that takes patients with aggression? ?

Young friend has alzheimers and we can’t find a home that will take him because he is still very strong and has the normal agression that goes with the disease. No one seems to be able to tell us how to find an affordable personal care facilty that can handle him or accept him.

   I have both worked in Assisted Living and just recently placed my mother in a facility. The best thing to do is request some mild medication from their Dr. so they are less aggressive. My mother was almost hyper and very agitated in the evenings. Her Dr. gave her a med that can be “sprinkled” onto applesauce, etc. at dinnertime. She has mellowed and is a lot more relaxed. Good luck!
