What “natural” personal care products do you use?

I’ve been trying to use all natural personal care products, I am currently using Burt’s Bees products but they don’t have a lot of choices for make up. Does anyone have any suggestions?

   Visit a local large grocery chain that specializes in natural foods and products (if you have one)–ours has several makeup brands you can try in the store. BUT these tend to be very expensive. Also, go to Skin Deep website which will tell you the safest “regular” off the shelf products. Personally I use Alba and Aubrey products–Burt’s Bees bothers my skin. Be aware that some people can be allergic to “natural” ingredients, too. I am allergic to tea tree oil. “Natural” deodorants don’t work for me, give me a rash. And I gave up wearing makeup years ago, other than a touch of powder. Good luck!

   I use kiss my face make up. biggreenpurse.com has wonderful green resources listed. I use their recommendations a lot.

   Gourmet Food Shoppe

   Ulta carries a brand called “Be Fine” that is made from vegan ingredients and is paraben free. I’m not sure if they have a cosmetics line, but I use their face wash and toner and love it.
